Although change is necessary for growth, no change comes without certain apprehension. And, although we are supposed to grow with this change, we take the first step with the awe of a child.
I was chatting with a friend who has decided it is time to make a change in her life. She has been saying this for some time now, but it would seem she is adamant about it. Good for her. She is wasting her real potential as a professional and a person. But I could see the apprehension in her face and feel the awe in her voice. It was interesting to see that I was not the only person to approach change in this way.
But why do we really need change?
Is it because we are really seeking some sort of perfection or perfect state we cannot find in our current situation?
